Sermon Title: “Breaking The Power of Anxiety”
Pastor: Doug Miller
Scriptures: Genesis 32

Synopsis: Many of us have low-grade anxiety over things that we just want to ignore, but what hap-pens when your mental alarm bells are going off for no reason? Instead of letting anxiety dictate your thoughts, learn how to guide your thinking by facing your fears and listening to the truth of God’s word.

Sermon Title: “In The Meantime”
Pastor: Doug Miller
Scriptures: Esther 4:15-5:8

Synopsis: When we’re in the space between what we hope God will do and what he actually does, it can be easy to fall into fear and anxiety. But our God has a plan – and in the meantime is when we can lean on what we know is true about his plan for us.

Sermon from 08 September 2024

Sermon Title: “What Sound Tracks Play In Your Head?”
Pastor: Doug Miller
Scriptures: Philippians 4:6-8

Synopsis: We cannot defeat what we won’t define. When we have the tools to identify negative thought patterns in our lives, we can take steps forward towards replacing them with thoughts that are true, helpful, and kind.

Sermon from 01 September 2024

Sermon Title: “The Sacred Side of Work”
Pastor: Linda Maifair
Scriptures: Genesis Chapter 1

Synopsis: “Sacred” is probably not the first word that comes to mind when most people think about work. But work is sacred because God is a worker, he created us in His image and called us to be his co-workers, and he’s given us work to do. All our work has a sacred side because we are to do it “as if we are doing it for the Lord” (because we are) and all Christians are called to the work of ministry by Jesus Christ.

Sermon from 25 August 2024

Sermon Title: “What Is Your Vision For Life?”
Pastor: Doug Miller
Scriptures: Daniel 9:4-17

Synopsis: You can likely identify the thing that is dominating your thoughts or causing you to worry pretty quickly. It’s easy to get caught up in the moment and culture we’re living in. But is it possible that the restless we feel is because we know God has a bigger vision for our lives?

Sermon from 18 August 2024

Sermon Title: “Conviction, Compassion. Connection”
Pastor: Doug Miller
Scriptures: Daniel 4:4-28

Synopsis: We all have convictions and opinions that drive us to make decisions that guide our life. But we often struggle to know how to balance our convictions with compassion for others with differing opinions. So how do we rise above the tension to love each other the way Jesus calls us to?
