Synopsis: “Sacred” is probably not the first word that comes to mind when most people think about work. But work is sacred because God is a worker, he created us in His image and called us to be his co-workers, and he’s given us work to do. All our work has a sacred side because we are to do it “as if we are doing it for the Lord” (because we are) and all Christians are called to the work of ministry by Jesus Christ.
Synopsis: You can likely identify the thing that is dominating your thoughts or causing you to worry pretty quickly. It’s easy to get caught up in the moment and culture we’re living in. But is it possible that the restless we feel is because we know God has a bigger vision for our lives?
Synopsis: We all have convictions and opinions that drive us to make decisions that guide our life. But we often struggle to know how to balance our convictions with compassion for others with differing opinions. So how do we rise above the tension to love each other the way Jesus calls us to?
Synopsis: There are a number of ways people determine what is “right” and what is “wrong”. As followers of Jesus the question is – will we make our decisions based on faithfulness to God, or in fear of others? The answer is often found in what we determine to be most important to us.
Synopsis: In the middle of a divisive culture, it seems like every disagreement ends in a shouting match. But as we dig into the story of Daniel, we can learn the valuable lesson of how to disagree with culture without disrespecting others.
