Sermon Title: “Closing the Gap”

Scriptures: Mark 2:1-12

Synopsis: Jesus is all about closing the gap that separates people from one another and people from God. He doesn’t like obstacles that come between him and those who need him. Where do we see ourselves in the story of four friends who went to great lengths to carry a friend to Jesus? Are we the obstacles (crowd)? The obstacle over-comers (friends)? Or are we the one who needs to be carried (paralyzed man on the mat)?
