We begin a new series in which we will look at this word and consider how this word applies to our faith. When I think of the word, I think of tearing something apart and destroying it! But deconstruction is more of an action of taking something we believe and looking at the various aspects of that belief. In so doing we seek to understand whether all the pieces of the belief are accurate or whether there is a central belief that is true which is surrounded by traditions, people’s bias or doctrine that may not line up with the true central belief. We will look at the statement Jesus is the Son God. Is it true? And if it is, how does that effect how we are to live.
