Sermon from 12 April 2026

One of the biggest challenges for us as believers is to really consider whether we believe God’s word is true or not. There are several passages of scripture we might read and find we have little trouble doing what the Bible tells us. An example of this might be Jesus’ command to love our enemies. While we know we should do it, it can be a challenging response to actually do. Our culture tells us you love you friends and stick it to your enemies. But Jesus’ words have a way of working on our hearts when following them. Join us as we explore how we can take this “backward commands of Jesus” and thrust ourselves forward in our own spiritual growth.
