Synopsis: Palm Sunday tends to be an exciting time. We have palm branch we wave, we sing glorious songs commemorating the entrance of Jesus into the Holy City of Jerusalem, we in some sense want to identify with Jesus as he gets the praise and warm welcome of the people. However, Palm Sunday is also a day, more than any other, where we see a tremendous shift in the direction and momentum of the Christ’s journey toward the cross. Considering our Love Feast held that evening, I will use the morning service as a time of examination/reflection. How well do we “remember” what Christ has done for us and how well do we allow it to comfort us in the low moments of our walk and motivate us in our everyday life.
